It's hard to describe what it felt like meeting the brand new baby boy that belongs to my best friend in the whole world. It's one of those milestones in life that marks where we've come from and how far we've gone since becoming friends. It was another experience entirely to have the chance to photograph Leah and Arlo. There's an added element of familiarity photographing someone you know so well that I think becomes palpable in the resulting frames. My only regret was not having the chance to include her husband and Arlo's father in some of the photos, but alas, work must be attended to. Nick, we'll get you next time for sure!
